Clarence “Ty” Gagnon, 75, beloved husband of Janet (Vieira) Gagnon of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2022 at the Hospital of Central CT at New Britain General, with his family by his side.
Ty was born in Kent, Maine and was son to the late Louis and Marion (Harvey) Gagnon. After 22 years, Ty retired from the U.S. Air Force with an honorable discharge. Ty was also a former employee of Fed-Ex for many years. Ty will be remembered for his love of family and especially cherished spending it with his devoted wife and mother, Janet.
Ty also enjoyed being an avid Steelers fan and loving his dogs, and a special memory of his dog, Taz. In addition to his wife Janet, Ty will be dearly missed by his sons, Bryan and Billy and his precious grandchildren, Dustin, Kevin, Marvin and Christopher. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters; Roger, Kate, Lorraine, Donald, Norman, Marvin, Dana, Gary, Terry and Bruce.
Many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Ty’s family would also like to express their gratitude to Dr. Watson and doctors and nurses of the Hospital of Central CT.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Monday, December 19, 2022, visitation 9:30AM-11:30AM, followed by a prayer service at 11:30AM.
