Philip Ciaffaglione, 75, husband of Irene Ciaffaglione of Southington, passed away on July 13, 2016, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut after a brief illness. Phil was born on Oct. 13, 1940, in New Britain, to the late Antonio and Concetta (Briganti) Ciaffaglione previously residing in New Britain.
Mr. Ciaffaglione was owner of “Your Store” in New Britain for over 37 years. He was a parishioner of St. Ann’s Church and member of the Corvette Club of Connecticut.
Phil was a lighthearted man with a loving and gentle nature with a great sense of humor. He will be remembered for his woodworking skills. He enjoyed his Corvettes, working around the house and on the cars he loved, but what brought greatest joy to his life was his adored grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Irene, Phil will be dearly missed by his son, Dean Ciaffaglione and his wife, Ewa, of Plantsville; grandchildren, Maya, Adam and Luke Ciaffaglione, and his daughter, Sherry Norris and her husband, James, of Manchester, and grandchildren Madison and Brendan Norris; stepdaughter Sherry, husband Adam Scwartz and stepson Robert Kobus, Jr.; He is predeceased by his sister, Connie Intagliata and brother, Sebastian “Curly” Ciaffaglione.

Funeral services will begin Saturday, July 16, at 9 a.m. from the New Britain Memorial – Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by the Funeral Liturgy at 10 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 101 North St., New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
