Normand D. Dube, 86, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2023 with his beloved family by his side. Born in Springfield, MA to the late Desire “Dave” and Irene Dube, Normand graduated Hartford High School and later attended the University of Pennsylvania. Norm met and married his beloved Huguette in 1960 and they raised their family in New Britain. Norm worked as an office manager, purchasing agent, and retired as a materials manager with Preston Engravers. Norm was a longtime parishioner of St. Francis Church where he was a lector for 52 years and a Eucharist Minister. He was also a member of the Adult Folk Choir along with his wife, Huguette and was an active member of the St. Francis Men’s Rosary. Norm held his faith very close and found great comfort in the teachings of St. Anthony. He also volunteered his time at the Siena Learning Center as an ESL tutor. Norm joins in heaven his parents, Desire and Irene Dube, as well as siblings: Andy Dube, Raymond Dube, Rita Schultz, and Albert Dube; and his step-mother, Pauline Dube. In addition to his wife, Huguette, Norm is survived by and will be dearly missed by: his daughter, Joanne Listro and husband Paul; sons Brian Dube and partner Chandra, and Kenneth Dube and wife Alena; beloved grandkids: Jason, Matthew, and Michael, and step granddaughter, Diana; lifelong best friend, Anthony Lettiere; as well as many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at St. Francis Church, at 10:00am. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain from 4:00-7:00 pm, as well as Thursday morning from 9:00-9:30 am.
