It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Mieczyslaw Bielecki at Hospital of Central Connecticut on Thursday, August 5, 2021 after a heroic battle with cancer. Mieczyslaw was in his 77th year. He faced his cancer diagnosis head on and as a warrior. He fought a strong battle with all his will and strength. He never lost hope and kept his optimism till his last breath. Loving father of Boguslaw and wife Anna Bielecki, Joanna and husband Mariusz Wroblewski, and Daniel Bielecki. Survived by his wife also two brothers Henryk Bielecki, Kazimierz Bielecki and sister Zofia Gierus . He was the proud grandfather to Steven Bielecki, Nicholas Bielecki, Joshua Wroblewski, Gabriella Wroblewski, and Kaya Wroblewski. His children and grandchildren were the pride, joy and happiness of his life. He was predeceased by his parents Walenty and Antonina (Kogut) Bielecki, sister Maria Gancarz and brother Jan Bielecki. Mieczyslaw is lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and may good friends. He lead a good life in Poland and in 1995 immigrated to the United States to be closer to his children already living in the United States. He worked very hard to establish a new life in New Britain, CT but always found the time to spend with his children and grandchildren. His family was his whole world. He was a loving father and grandfather who have done anything for his loved ones. He was also very innovative in finding solutions to any construction or mechanical problem. He passed his amazing knowledge to his children and grandchildren. He was a supportive and loving friend to many. But above all he was very proud of his children and grandchildren. Our hearts are broken, nothing will be the same without you, we are so grateful and proud of you loving Tatus, Dziadek. Funeral services are entrusted to New Britain Memorial-Sagarino Funeral Home. Calling hour are scheduled on Monday August 9, 2021 from 5pm-8PM. A Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church 0n Tuesday August 10, 2021 at 9:30. Burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery will follow.
