Mary L. Roderick

Mary L. (Autunno) Roderick, 90, of Newington, widow of James P. Roderick, Sr., passed away peacefully on April 4, 2018. Mary was born July 13, 1927 in New Britain to the late Peter and Carmela Autunno. She enjoyed caring for her loving family and will be remembered for her heart of gold and incredible sense of humor. Mary is survived and will be dearly missed by: her son, James P. Roderick, Jr. and two daughters, Joanne R. Jensen and Paula L. Roderick, all of Newington; her three cherished granddaughters, Lindsay, Alexandra, and Jamie; her great grandson, Logan James; her brother, Julius Autunno; and several nieces and nephews. Mary is predeceased by her husband, James Sr., daughter Nancy Brown, daughter-in-law Esther Roderick and the Bub.

Funeral services will begin Monday, April 9th at 9 o’clock in the morning at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by the funeral liturgy at 10 o’clock at St. Paul’s Church in Kensington, CT. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in New Britain, CT. Visitation hours will be Sunday, April 8th from 2-5pm at the funeral home.
