She was born in New Britain and was the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Marotta) Ruscito. Lisa was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School class of 1986, a graduate of Briarwood College and most recently was completing her Nursing Degree at the Capital Nursing School in Hartford. She was employed as a Medical Assistance in Cardiology (St. Francis). Lisa volunteered at her children’s school, and was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Her caring and loving nature will be missed by her family and friends.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her devoted husband, Pellegrino (Pelly) Esposito and her beloved children, Joseph and Stefanie Esposito. She leaves a brother, Fortunato Ruscito of Plainville and a sister, Rosanna Patoine and her husband, Gill of New Britain. She is also survived by her mother in law, Stephanina Esposito and was predeceased by her father in law, Guiseppe Esposito; also surviving is her brother in law, Antonio Esposito and his wife, Jennifer; two sisters in law Santa Esposito and Maria Esposito and her companion, Mario Sgro. She leaves many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Funeral service will be Saturday February 19, 2011 at 9:15 AM at the New Britain Memorial &Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain (directions: I-84, right off #37, 1 ½ miles on right) followed by a funeral liturgy at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Garden Mausoleum, New Britain. Calling hours will be Friday, February 18th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Esposito children’s educational fund.
