She was born in Poland on October 16, 1943, to the late Tadeusz and Helena Skrzypecki. She was a resident of Jelenia Gora, Poland before settling in New Britain 36 years ago.
Magdalena will be most remembered for her wonderful personality, genuine heart, and delicious cooking. She enjoyed traveling and enjoying the outdoors with her family and friends. She also enjoyed many crafts such as sewing and crossword puzzles.
She is survived and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Dr. Anna Kwiatkowski, who was her pride and joy. She is also survived by a brother, Grzegorz Skrzypecki, and two nieces, Malgosia and Elzbieta, in Poland. She also leaves many friends who were like family. She was predeceased by her beloved brother, Andrzej Skrzypecki.
Funeral service will be Tuesday June 14, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. at the New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain (directions: I-84, right off #37, 1.5 miles on right) followed by the funeral liturgy at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St, New Britain. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. Calling hours will be Monday, June 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
