Luz E. Torres

Luz E. Torres, 65, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at CT Branford Hospice. She was the beloved wife of Osvaldo Rosado. She was born on March 25, 1952, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, a daughter of Raul Torres-Otero and Gloria (Cardona). Luz was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Her family was most important to her. She was a skilled seamstress, and enjoyed cross stitching. Spending time with those she loved brought her the greatest joy in her life.

Luz is survived by and will be dearly missed by her husband Osvaldo Rosado of New Britain, son Eric Rosado and his wife Sara of East Hampton, son Robert Rosado of Wethersfield, daughter Meagan Rosado of New Britain, her mother Gloria Cardona of Meriden, brother Raul Torres of Wilmington, Delaware.

She is predeceased by her father, Raul Torres-Otero and her brother Luis Angel Torres.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 1-3pm at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain CT 06053.
