John S. Mucha

John was born in New Britain and is the son of Josephine Mucha and the late Josepha Mucha Sr. He attended local schools, graduated from a Catholic University with a degree in physics and obtained a master in mathematics from Trinity College. He was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church. John worked as an Engineer for Pratt and Whitney and a sales representative for Airotech, Inc. for many years. He was a devoted son, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his mother, Josephine Mucha of New Britain, two sons, Christopher Jon Mucha of Oakland, Ca and Jon Paul Mucha and wife Heather of Coventry, CT. He leaves two brothers with their spouses, Joseph J. Mucha and his wife, Patricia of South Yarmouth, MA and Phillip J. Mucha and his wife, Dorothy of Avon, CT. Also surviving are four granddaughters, Marisa Mae Mucha; Alyssa Raven Johnson; Leah Michelle Mucha and Katarina Renee Mucha.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18 , CT. at 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, , followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Church, Farmington Ave. New Britain. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
