Jessica was born in New Britain CT, to the late Peter Michael Matta, Jr. and Deborah Holmes Kasper on October 27, 1980. She was also the step-daughter of Jan R. Kasper. Sadly left behind to grieve and remember her as the beautiful soul she was are her beloved boyfriend Stephen and the two other loves of her life, her sons Gianni Lee and Gabriel Blake. She also leaves behind her brother Tyler H. Matta. Jessica sadly leaves behind a close circle of friends who will miss her dearly. Dawn (Newell) Mattei, Aya Salman, Manar Salman, Karen Marino. Her sister Kathryn Kasper predeceased her in 2018.
Jessica attended Berlin high school and in 1998, embarked on a successful career in retail. She moved to Lake Elsinore, CA in 1999, before returning to CT in 2002 where she continued her retail career as well as nannying for several years. It was her intention to train and to enter the nursing profession and to passionately support the medical services via her new career.
Jessica loved to dance and was an accomplished ballerina from an early age. She adored music and dancing and being with her close friends. Her many other passions in life included teaching, crafting metal work, art and cinema, hiking and biking, gardening and home improvement. Jessica also attended beauty school and was a highly skilled hairdresser and beautician. Jessica was a pragmatist but also very spiritual and spent many hours visiting with her father. Jessica was an intelligent, fiercely loyal, beautiful, kind, gentle, nurturing and loving spirit with a huge heart and will be deeply missed by many.
There will be a celebration of her life at a later date in Connecticut.
