Jeanne (Pelletier) Mancini, 91 passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 at The Reservoir, West Hartford with her daughter by her side. She was the cherished wife of the late Michael A. Mancini and together they built a life marked by devotion and companionship. Their bond was a testament to enduring love, weathering the storms of life including the heartbreaking loss of their only son, Michael, with strength and resilience. The memory of her husband and son remained a cherish presence in Jeannes heart until her final days.
Jeannes role as a grandmother brought her immense joy as she shared a special bond with her grandson, Michael. She was so proud of his every accomplishment, treasuring each precious moment of their time together. Her love for her grandson was unconditional, filled with joy and the making of many memories not forgotten.
Her life was marked by simplicity, humility and gratefulness. She was happy with little and never desired to possess more. Though of modest means she always had something to share with those less fortunate than her. She experienced throughout her long life how true is the teaching of Jesus that there is more joy in giving than in receiving.
Jeanne was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Born on August 14,1932 in Rumford, Maine, she was the daughter to the late Damas and Aurea Pelletier.
Jeanne is survived by her devoted daughter, Marie Rosensweig and her husband Carl of West Hartford, a grandson Michael J. Rosensweig of Manhattan, her sister, Simone Giantonio of New Britain, a very dear niece Elaine Blair of Burlington, CT as well as several nieces and nephews.
Jeanne retired from Stanley Works after many years of service.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on 10:00am Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at St. Peter Claver Church 47 Pleasant St., West Hartford, CT 06107.
