Jarod Tilley, 34, passed away on October 7th at Aurora Senior Living, Cromwell after a long illness. Born in Long Beach, California, he was the son of Jimmie and Ann Tilley of Middletown. Jarod lived most of his life in New Britain and Middletown and attended Middletown schools. Besides his parents he is survived by his brothers Brandon Tilley of New Britain and Dane Tilley of Middletown, niece Angela Tilley of Southington, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by this mother, Peggy O’Neil of Kensington. Jarod will be remembered for his love of tinkering with computers and cars, his penchant for Big Macs with extra sauce, and his courage, strength and optimism facing his final battle. Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation on Friday, October 10th, 2014 from 5-8pm, with a Memorial Service to follow immediately at 8pm at the New Britain Memorial-Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain CT 06053.
