Janina (Waloszek) Murawski, 90, beloved wife of Jan Murawski, of New Britain, passed away peacefully at home, on Saturday, March 23, 2019. She was born in Limbourg, Belgium and was daughter to the late Stanislaw and Wiktoria (Wcislo) Waloszek. Janina had been employed by J.C Penney and New Britain Memorial Hospital. She will be missed for her beautiful sewed pieces and making knit items for her family.
In addition to her loving husband, Jan, she will also be dearly missed by her children; Walter Murawski (Sandra), Henry Murawski (Ina Boucher) and Frank Murawski (Janice), a brother, John Waloszek (Krystyna), eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by; a brother, Joseph, a sister, Emilka Hann and a grandson, Adam Murawski.
A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 4-7 pm at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. Funeral services will begin Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 9:00am from the funeral home, followed by her funeral liturgy at 10:00am in Holy Cross Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
