Helena Wolanin, 79 wife of the late Czeslaw Wolanin, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024. She was born February 18, 1944 in Poland a daughter of the late Marcien and Stefania Cisek. Helena worked for Johnson and Johnson until her retirement. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, loved sewing, gardening, flowers and watching birds in her bird feeder.
Helena is survived by a daughter, Mary Honyak and her husband Joseph of N.Windham, CT a son, Chester Wolanin of New Britain as well as many cousins through out the country.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 11am - 12pm at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. A funeral service will follow at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain.
