(1980 - 2020)
W. Hartford/W. Palm Beach, Fl.
Words are meaningless when describing the anguish at the loss of Elon on Dec. 21, 2020. She will no longer light up a room with her presence. We will be deprived of her charm and wit and no longer view her sense of style and beauty.
After attending Ethel Walker School in Simsbury and Suffield Academy in Suffield, Elon was awarded a scholarship for her artistic abilities by Savannah College of Art and Design. She also attended courses at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University in Boston.
Elon was fortunate to travel extensively during her brief life. She enjoyed being physically fit, eating healthy, doing yoga and jogging. Above all, Elon was abundantly kind to people and animals. She leaves her English Angora rabbit, Max, her mother, Dr. Marie-Elaine DeAngelis of Savannah, Georgia, her uncle Dr. Robert Pawlicki and wife, Gail Scarbrough of Savannah, Georgia and many other dear and beloved family members and fantastic friends, too numerous to mention. Elon was predeceased by her father, Perry DeAngelis. A celebration of Elon’s life will happen in the near future. New Britian Memorial- Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain has been entrusted with arrangements. Donations may be made in Elon’s name to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
