Elaine Parker, 82, of Southington, CT, passed away on April 13, 2024. Elaine is survived by her three children and their spouses; Cindy and Joe Terrien, Dane Proll, and Holly and Skip Comstock, as well as five grandchildren; Adam (Ben), Nathan, Alexandra, Christina (Pete), and Howie, and two great grandchildren Faith and Skyla.
As a single mother of three Elaine wore various hats to provide for her family, including her time spent as a legal assistant and ultimately retiring from a long-committed position as a civil servant for the town of Southington. Elaine was actively involved in the CT Association of Emblem Clubs where she served as state president from 2000-2001, in addition to many years of community contributions alongside her emblem sisters. Elaine was a dog lover who enjoyed a good book, a gripping action movie, and also had a passion for knitting. Providing scarves, blankets, and hats for all so they can be comfy and cozy truly embodied her spirit.
A visitation service will be held at New Britain Memorial Funeral Home at 444 Farmington Ave in New Britain from 4pm to 8PM on Monday, April 22nd. The funeral prayer service will begin at 6pm.
