Catherine N. (Esposito) Mahar, 76, wife of the late Brian Irving Mahar, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Masonic Healthcare in Wallingford. She was born October 25, 1948 in Ellsworth Maine, a daughter of the late Vincent Esposito and Natalie (Rogers) Gaspar and step-father Ronald Gaspar. Catherine graduated from Husson University and worked as secretary for CT Light & Power until her retirement. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Chris Engblom of Bristol, grandsons: Brandon Esposito, Devon Esposito, Brian G. Mahar and James Woodward and a bonus granddaughter, Victoria. Great-grandsons Noah, Nash and another great-grand child due in May 2025. She is also survived by her two brothers; Vincent Esposito and Philip Esposito, a brother-in-law Keith Mahar, as well as many nieces and nephews. Cathy was predeceased by her daughter Elizabeth Mahar, sister Patricia Quinn and brother Richard Esposito.
