Carol E. Shea

She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years William B. Shea Jr. and her brother George H. Ellingwood Jr., his wife Beverly and their son George H. Ellingwood III.

She is survived by her sister Sally Ellingwood Charland.

Carol leaves her devoted children 3 daughters Elida and Frank DeLuca, their children Kristin, Frank (and his wife Andrea) and Matthew, Carol and Richard Mills, their sons Craig and Luke, Kathryn and Charles Frascona, their daughter Kelly, her son and his wife, William and Susan Shea, and their sons Daniel Shea, Michael and Joseph Madera.

Carol was born in Hartford. She graduated Weaver High 1947. She loved her big family parties, singing, skiing, dancing, flowers, reading and jokes.

Special thanks to the staff of Jerome Home in New Britain. Your care was phenomenal. Thanks for caring for all of us at this sorrowful time.

Friends and relatives may call for a visitation service on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017 from 4: to 7:00PM at the New Britain Memorial -Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain Memorial Funeral Home. Directions, exit 37 off I-84, take a right at the exit, funeral home is 1 ½ miles on your right.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 9:30 AM at the Funeral Home followed by the funeral liturgy at 10:30 AM at St. Francis of Assis Church. Burial will be at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.
