Akbar (Jeff) Jafari Amineh-Esfahani, 66 husband of Aida Rodrigustez Jafari, since 2008 of New Britain, CT passed away on June 20th, 2018 at his home in New Britain after a long battle with coronary heart disease with his wife by his side. Akbar was born on December 21st, 1951 in Iran to the late Sakineh Karimi and Bijan Jafari Amineh-Esfahani, previously residing in Iran before settling in Boston, MA. Akbar was self-employed and had owned two gas stations along with a car dealership. He enjoyed writing and singing music for his people, the ocean, parks, great food and great company, spending time with his family and two cats, and spent most his time with his loving wife, enjoying the great outdoors or a nice move indoors.
Akbar will most be remembered for his giving heart to anyone and anything in need. He was the type of man that would give a stranger the last dollar in his pocket along with the shirt off of his back. He opened his doors to everyone and welcomed them with a loving heart and a great home cooked meal. He always found a way to make a person smile no matter the situation with his joking ways and warm embrace.
He created many memorable moments for his wife, children and family and always made sure those around him were taken care of and loved. He was as proud of his family and they are of him.
Along with his wife, Aida, Akbar is survived and will be dearly missed by his son Babak (Bobby) Michael Jafari of Chestnut Hill, MA and daughters Bahareh Somayeh Jafari of Watertown, MA & Melissa Birkner of Chicopee, MA. His grandchildren Cameron, Lamar Junior, Soraya, Liam, Adrian, Charlie, and John. Siblings Mohammad, Hossein, Farzaneh, and Bahera. Several nieces and nephews, dear friends, neighbors, and his two cats Lily and Sophie. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT 06053. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his memory may be made to Prudence Crandall Center 594 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06050
