Rosa Alvarez

She is survived by two daughters; Rose Marie Alvarez Tarlton, and Belinda A. Muñoz and husband Manuel; son, Richard Alvarez and wife Sandra; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Amparo Caducoy and Dolores Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfonso Alvarez, Sr.; son, Alfonso Alvarez, Jr.; sister, Eugenia Silguero; brothers, Edwardo, Fernando, and Guillermo Cortez; and a nephew, Jesse Cortez.

Public Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Thursday at Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue 8:00 AM Friday at the funeral home and continue until 9:30 am when the service departs in a procession to the church. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Friday, August 1, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Reverend Francios Rakotovoavy, MFS – Celebrant. Interment will follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery.
