Robert Wright Williams, III, died August 24, 2016 at his home in New Braunfels at the age of 74. Mr. Williams was born in San Antonio on October 23, 1942 to Robert W. Williams, Jr., a rancher, and Crystal Sasse Williams, a teacher. He grew up in Carrizo Springs, where he graduated from public school, later attending the University of Texas in Austin. After serving in the United States Air Force, he worked in banking in Austin and Houston, and later in real estate in San Antonio and New Braunfels.
Mr. Williams was a dog lover and enjoyed hunting and being in the Texas countryside. He shared an interest in history with his mother, who passed away in November of 2015. He was also preceded in death by his father, and his wife, Valerie Buzan Williams. He is survived by his brother, Christopher Williams, of Austin.
A service in memory of Mr. Williams and his mother, Crystal Sasse Ragsdale, will be held on October 15, 2016 in New Braunfels, at 11:00 a.m at the First United Methodist Church, 572 W.
