On July 21, 2017, the angels came and lightly lifted our loving husband, dad, and pawpaw into the arms of God.
Bobby was born on February 25, 1947 at Eglin AFB in Florida to Arlind and Cecyle (Ludwig) Blome. Shortly after, they moved to New Braunfels where he was a life-long resident. He was baptized and confirmed as a Lutheran. Upon his high school graduation in 1965, Bobby enlisted in the United States Air Force proudly serving his country including a Vietnam tour in 1968. He was honored to receive the National Defense Medal and Squadron Airman of the Month in 1967. Bobby was honorably discharged in 1969 as a Sargent. He married the love of his life, Judy Gassner, on June 21, 1970 making New Braunfels their home where they raised two daughters. He was employed with Sears and Culligan. Bobby enjoyed music, bowling, golf, fishing, and playing baseball. His biggest blessing was his grandchildren.
