Riley Johnson

Riley Wayne Johnson, 83, of New Braunfels, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the Morningside Manor Assisted Living in San Antonio, Texas. He was born to Oliver Edward Johnson and Susie (Hebison) Johnson in Brownfield, Texas on April 13, 1929. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired after 22 years. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Needa Joyce (Dykes) Johnson. He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Hecox and husband Orlan of New Braunfels; sons, David Johnson and wife Su of Cibolo and Stephen Johnson and wife Joyanna of Seguin; and daughter, Susan Bartos and husband Scott of New Braunfels; sister, Ruth Davis of Seminole, TX; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, and nephews.

Public visitation will begin 6:00 PM Sunday at Zoeller Funeral Home and continue until 8:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, January 14, 2013 at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park with Reverend Jason Adams officiating.
