Rene Daniel Cavazos

Rene Daniel Cavazos, age 75, a resident of New Braunfels, went to be with the Lord on Sunday February 11, 2024 from Town and Country Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boerne. Rene was born in San Antonio to Rudy Cavazos and LaDae Dominguez on November 15, 1948. Rene served in the United States Navy prior to racing cars and motorcycles. He had a passion for the interstate with a career of truck driving where he had met many of his friends. Rene retired after more than 40 years on the road.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Rudy Cavazos and LaDae Dominguez and brother, Rudy Cavazos.

Survivors include siblings Ramiro (Maria) Cavazos and Irene Cavazos Killingsworth, children include Chris (Shelly) Cavazos and Christina (Jason) Hill, grandchildren include Ashton, Kerstyn (Chance), Kaleb (Mia), Landyn, Dylan, Taylor, and Joanne, and great-grandson Waylon, along with numerous nieces, nephews,

and cousins.

A visitation for Rene will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM.
