Raymond Durham

RAYMOND DURHAM, 82, was born May 7, 1931 in Mexia, TX to Amos and Annie Mae Durham. He went to be with our Lord on January 23, 2014. He was employed by Occidental for 40 years and enjoyed 23 yrs. of retirement in Lake McQueeney, TX. Raymond is preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Colgin, and brother, Roy Durham. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his devoted and loving wife of 60 years, Barbara, and children Debbie Anderson (Don), Duane Durham, Dwight Durham (Julie), Deann Vice (David), and Darina Buell (Bruce). Raymond & Barbara were blessed with 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and he was known to them as their “Pop”. Raymond served in the Army, was a 3rd Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus, and was involved in many various clubs and organizations. He took up painting when he retired and was quite the artist. He will be missed by us all. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Zoeller Funeral Home. Services will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Braunfels, followed by a graveside service at Comal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. “Thanks to my best bud, Johnnie ~ I’ll see you later.”
