Nilda worked many years as a daycare and preschool teacher. Throughout her years as a teacher she touched the lives of many of her students and their families. She loved spending time with family and friends and was always the “life of the party” at every gathering.
She is survived by her husband, Jaime Yzaguirre; daughters, Stacy Ann Villarreal and husband Richard and Jamie Yzaguirre and fiancé Jose Manuel Meza; grandchildren, Zane Villarreal, Trystan Wilson, and Brooklyn Meza; step-grandson, Cameron Villarreal; mother, Viola Yanas; sisters, Viola McKinnis and husband Johnny and Gloria Paredes and husband Robert; brothers, Samuel De Los Santos and wife Cindy and Ricardo De Los Santos; Numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father Gilberto De Los Santos, Sr.; step-father, Theodore Yanas; sisters, Raquel Paredez and Sacramento Luna; brothers, Juan De Los Santos and Gilbert De Los Santos, Jr.
The family will be present to receive friends at Zoeller Funeral Home starting at 11:00 AM Friday and will continue until service time. A Celebration of Life will begin 12:00 Noon Friday, September 22, 2023 at Zoeller Funeral Home Chapel. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Dee and Jim Overynder for the loving care and attention given to Nilda and to the family. Honorary Pall-bearers are; Daniel De Los Santos, Robert Paredes, Hal Carlson, Hector Rivera, Jesse Reyes, and Sammy Cardenas. Following the service a time of sharing and fellowship will be held at Vicky's Hinterhof located at: 719 W. San Antonio St. New Braunfels, Texas.
