Myra J. Mackie went home to be with Jesus on March 16, 2018. Myra was born December 20, 1941, to parents Tracy F. Barker and Mildred J. Mccomas in Charleston, West Virginia. Myra is survived by her second husband of 51 years, Charles L. Mackie; son, Thomas L. Curtis; daughter, Miya R. Cattilini; son-in-law, Rich; son, Dan Mackie; daughter-in law, Lisa M. Mackie; Dale and Sylvia Mackie, Missy and Billy Floyd; grand-children, Kim and Felicia Curtis, Ryan T. Mackie, Maurice Bars; great-grandsons, Mackie and Mika Bars.
Myra was an independent lady. She was a strong minded person but she had to have these attributes to be the loving wife to a fireman and mother to her three children and a large number of “foster” children. Any emergency or drama usually happened when Mackie was at work but Myra always dealt with the event.
