beyond heartbroken to hear about the passing of our brother Katfish, We're so greatful God gave us the opportunity of meeting and knowing you. Our prayers are with the family at this time of grief, we ask that God wrap his arms around his family and provide comfort. We lost a great one of a kind man who was loved by all who knew him but Heaven gained an amazing angel, peek in on us every once in a while and watch over us Katfish especially Goldfish he's hurting so bad...we all are. We miss you so much already but we find comfort knowing you are no longer in pain you are resting in peace and that we will see you again one day...riding fast. It was a huge honor to meet and know you big brother we thank you for all the talks, advice and wisdom you shared..you impacted so many lives with your knowledge, presence and friendship. My first memory of Katfish.........it was a cold rainy day in November of 2001. The Dragon Slayers MC was hosting a benefit for sweet little girl named Nicole. Me and Randy went on the ride in the crazy rain... we finally pulled into Riley's on the Backbone to try and hide from the rain. On the back porch there is where I first met Michael Katfish Beard. He was riding with Mike and Mark DeRemer that day. The bar owner came and opened up for all of us. We all were soaked to the bone. Katfish and I were standing in front of a big heater and we started turning in circles....each of us going in different directions. We called it rotisserie drying. We took turns flipping our leathers over on the woodstove to dry them out. Gonna miss him so much!
