She was preceded in death by her husband Aniceto Rodriguez, daughter Linda Machuca, son-in-law Arturo Guerrero. She is survived by her son David Rodriguez and wife Maria, Daughter Maria Guerrero, daughter Oralia Perez and husband Joe Perez, and son Rogelio Rodriguez of Fort Worth. She is survived by her special granddaughter who she raised, and who was her loving caregiver to the end Mary Rodriguez Cantu. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
A public visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. A holy rosary will occur Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 7:00 PM, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 138 W Austin St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. A graveside service will occur at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Peace Ave, New Braunfels, Texas 78130.
