Lillian Marie Seidel Lehmann went to be with her Lord at the age of 80, on Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family and loved ones. Lillian was born in Rosanky, Texas on January 30, 1938 to Charlie August Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Seidel. Lillian married the love of her life, Roman Lehmann on June 12, 1956. She loved working for CISD as a cook. Lillian was a very active member of her community throughout her life. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary for 50 Years and a member of the Comal County Fair Association for 12 Years as a Director. Lillian also made time to be a 4H adult leader, was inducted in the Freiheit 9 Pin Bowling Hall of Fame and a member of the New Braunfels Polka Dance Club. Some of her favorite hobbies included parading and driving the Farmall farm tractors. She enjoyed farming, dancing with her family and extended family. Lillian loved working in her garden, canning her vegetables and making jelly. She loved her plants, especially her blooming Orchid plants and of course she spent many hours watching her chickens. Lillian was loved by all and will be missed by all.
Lillian was preceded in death by her parents Charlie Seidel Sr. and Elizabeth Rabel Seidel; and her son Wayne Lehmann. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Roman Lehmann; daughter, Karen Dodson and husband Sammy; daughter-in-Law Debra Lehmann; grandson, Curt John Saur and wife Jessica and soon to arrive great-grandbaby Saur; grandson, Korey Roman Saur; grandson, Clay Joseph Saur and wife Kameron; granddaughter, Marisa Frausto and husband Jesse; great grandsons, David Kendall IV; and Jayden Frausto; sisters, Lorene Merek, Lenora Mueller, Lavern Henk, and Lugine Voss; brother Charlie Seidel Jr. and wife Carol; and numerous nieces and nephews that loved her very much.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, with the Vigil beginning at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be Monday, March 26, 2018 at 10:00 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment will immediately follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made, in Lillians honor, to Hope Hospice or Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
