Julia A. Kent, 86, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Country Care Manor in LaVernia, TX. She was born to Gwen Palmer and Letha (Barber) Palmer in Lanette, Alabama on November 27, 1930.
She is survived by sons, Danny Kent of LaVernia, TX and Dwayne Kent and wife of Denise of New Braunfels; 2 grandchildren, Jacey Kent and Misty Paredez and husband Willie; nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Grover C. Kent; grandson, Colby Jay Kent; and brother, Gwen Palmer, Jr.
Public Visitation will begin 11:00 AM Thursday at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until service time. A Funeral Service will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home 1:00 PM Thursday, December 8, 2016 with Pastor Teresa Booth officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Arrangements under the direction of Zoeller Funeral Home, New Braunfels, TX.
