She was a retired school teacher having taught for 25 years for Northeast Independent School District.
She is survived by her husband Michael David Kiolbassa of New Braunfels, and daughter, Jennifer Morehead and husband David; grandchild, Evelyn Morehead; Numerous cousins and extended family members.
A public viewing & visitation for Janie will be held Monday, September 12, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St., New Braunfels, Texas 78130. A holy rosary will occur Monday, September 12, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 615 Landa St., New Braunfels, TX 78130. A committal service will occur Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
