Jaime R. Gonzales Jr.

Our hearts are heavy with the sudden passing of our son, father, brother, and grandfather. Jaime R. Gonzales, Jr. passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 23, 2023. He is preceded by his mother Frances R. Gonzales.

Jaime is survived by his daughter, Valerie Mata; grandchildren, Jason, Levi, Jade and Cameron; father, Jaime Gonzales, Sr.; sister, Esther G. Whitney and husband Victor; brother; David Gonzales; niece, Ashley Gonzales; and nephews, Victor Travis Whitney and Kelly Whitney. Numerous relatives cousins and friends.

Jaime graduated from New Braunfels High School in 1985. He received his Associates Degree in electronics from ITT. Jaime was a quiet and soft spoken man with a young heart and a gentle spirit, who brought happiness into the lives of his beloved family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, barbequing, watching football and listening to classic rock. In his later life he was blessed and proud to see his family grow with his beloved grandchildren who adored him. He loved being their Grandpa, Jr. Jaime will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Our family wishes to thank all who have sent prayers and condolences.

A visitation for Jaime will be held Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa, New Braunfels, TX 78130. A Vigil Service & Holy Rosary will occur Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 615 Landa St., New Braunfels, TX 78130. A Memorial Mass will occur Monday, January 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, New Braunfels, TX 78130.
