Jacquelyn Jonas Tyson of Spring Branch was born March 31, 1927 to Alfred and Ottilie Jonas in New Braunfels, Texas and passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 at the age of 86. She loved the ranch, birding, travel and animals of all kind. She graduated from New Braunfels High School with her twin sister in 1945. Preceding her in death was her husband Jim Tyson. Her survivors include her twin sister Audrey Lois Dean; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Stephan and Sharon Mayer, Martin Charles and Jo Ann Mayer, James Andrew and Bambi Mayer; grandchildren, Zachary and McKenzie Mayer, Meredith Mayer, Paige Hall; great grandchildren, Hailie and Hensley Hall; nephew and nice, Gary and Phyllis Renee Dean. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
