Helen Chapman Mims

Helen Chapman Mims went to be with the Lord Friday, January 22, 2021 at the age of 68. She was born on April 6, 1952 to Wilson Paul Chapman Sr. and Margaret Joan Chapman in New Braunfels, Texas. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wilson Paul Chapman Jr; sister, Doris Chapman; and brother, Johnny Chapman. Helen is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Harley Mims; son, Wilson Ray Mims; daughter, Naomi Mims; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grand child; brother, Jimmy Chapman (Annie); brother, Herman Chapman (Becky); brother, Preston Chapman; sister, Virleen Moon (Tony); sister, Penny Zimmerman (Kevin); sister, Agnes Camareno; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Helen was a member of the Pentecostal Church. She also enjoyed shopping at Walmart with her daughter and loved being with family.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 5-9:00 pm at Zoeller Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Friday, January 29, 2021 10:00 am at Zoeller Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
