Helen May (Peterson) Borresen, age 95, of New Braunfels, Texas passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Helen was born February 10, 1927 in Hartland, New York.
She was a graduate of Barker Central School, in Barker, N.Y. Worked for Farmer's Mechanic's Bank in Lockport, N.Y. She loved dancing, was in "the Red Hat Society", The Newcomers Club and The Margurita Club. Lived in Johnson's Creek, N.Y. as a young girl, then Barker, N.Y.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents John and Edith Harrod Peterson, husband of 58 years Eric Borresen Sr and her sister Hazel Mary Hooks.
Helen is survived by her 2 sons, Eric (wife Joan) Borresen and Randy Borresen, both of New Braunfels, Texas. 3 granddaughters and 6 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins in N.Y.
