Glenn Owen Caldwell

Glenn Owen Caldwell, 91, of New Braunfels, TX, passed away peacefully at home on December 20, 2023, surrounded by his family. Glenn grew up in Freer, TX where he met his high school sweetheart of 72 years. He worked at CPS in San Antonio, TX until he retired in 1992 and enjoyed anything to do that involved spending time with his family. Glenn also enjoyed all sports especially watching his daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Glenn will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Glenn is survived by wife Betty Jo, daughters Glenda and husband Kenneth Bauer, Debi Shurtleff, Brenda and husband Denis Abernethy, Terri and husband Kenneth Wells, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Glenn requested a small celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Glenn’s loved ones and friends to join us in celebration of his beautiful life at Southbank Community Center at 222 Southbank Blvd., New Braunfels, TX 78130, on December 30, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
