While raising 5 children, Georgia became inspired to pursue a life of fitness and health. She became involved with fitness classes and running groups. At age 37 she worked with her husband Pete to build an ad agency business. At age 40 she went to work for McKenna Sports, Fitness and Rehabilitation Center and would soon have a position at the new McKenna Club, enjoying her passion for fitness.
At the age of 50, Georgia set out to launch a magazine targeted to women age 40 and over, focusing on health and fitness. The magazine, called “Moxie!” released it’s first issue in July 2008. She loved fitness and health pursuits and she loved writing, but what she enjoyed most was inspiring other women.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Gruene Estate, 532 Rock St, New Braunfels. Arrangements under the direction of Zoeller Funeral Home, New Braunfels, TX.
