Felix C Ortiz

Felix C. Ortiz, Sr. was born on July 29, 1936 to Francisco Ortiz and Margarita Castro Ortiz in New Braunfels, Texas. He was married to Guadalupe Ortiz and they had two sons, Felix Ortiz, Jr. and Guadalupe Ortiz.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe G. Ortiz, his parents, Francisco and Margarita Ortiz, his brother, Florencio Ortiz and Angelica Ortiz, and a sister, Benita Ortiz.

Surviving him are his sons, Felix Ortiz, Jr. and wife, Marsha, and Guadalupe Ortiz and his wife, Adriana Ortiz, and his only living sister-in-law, Concepcion Rodriguez. Also surviving him are his sisters, Adela Ortiz, Elena Ortiz, Priscilla Lopez and husband, Pete, Maria Ortiz, and Eva Ortiz, his brothers, Frank Ortiz and wife, Mary, and Antonio Ortiz and wife Linda. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren surviving him are Casandra Gallegos and husband Efrain, and their children, Isaiah, Marissa, McKayla and Dillon; Felix Ortiz, III and his children, Haileigh, Pailsey and K'mire; Chris Ortiz; Kristy Venegas and husband, Joe, and their daughter, Nathalie; Annette Cortez and husband, Jose, and their children, Izzy and Alanah; Dustin Ortiz and wife, Amber, and their children, Chloe and Jacob; Venessa Rosales and her husband, Matthew, and their daughter, Bella. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, November 28, 2014 from 2 pm until 9 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7 pm. The funeral procession will depart Zoeller Funeral Home on Saturday November 29, 2014 at 9 am for a 9:30 Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church with interment to follow in Comal Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Felix Ortiz III, Dustin Ortiz, Matthew Rosales, Efrain Gallegos, Isaiah Gallegos and Chris Soto.
