Elizabeth Ann Moody

Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Moody, 69, of New Braunfels, Texas passed away on March 23, 2014 to be with the Lord. She was born in Harlingen, Texas to Jack and Gracie Nell Bryant. She grew up in Brownsville, Texas with her brother, Robert Bryant and near cousins and family. She graduated from Brownsville High School in 1963. She was married to Cecil T. Moody for 17 years.

Betty received her Registered Nurse degree in 1966. She obtained her Sonography Certification in 1984 and spent most of her work career in Plano, Texas. She enjoyed nursing very much, met many friends during her career and helped care for numerous women and young mothers. Betty was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, friend and nurse. She is survived by her loving husband Cecil T. Moody and sons Brian and Clayton, her daughter Karen Sparks and granddaughter Grace, daughter Jodi Arnold and husband, Craig and their children Hannah, Zane and Beck. She is also survived by her brother Robert Bryant and his wife, Pamela and their children.

A celebration of her life will be held at the home of her family at 999 Schwarzlose Road, New Braunfels, Texas 78130 at 1 p.m. on Saturday April 12th. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the charity of your choice.
