Cynthia A. Haner

Cynthia Ann Haner, 59, of New Braunfels, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the Colonial Manor Care Center. She was born to Edgar Haner, Jr. and Dorothy Dietert Haner in San Marcos, Texas on June 13, 1964.

Cynthia attended Pre K at Wonderland School in San Marcos and later moved to New Braunfels where she attended Canyon School. During her Middle School years, she was in Choir and in High School she participated in a work program. She later graduated from Canyon High School. She loved dogs and all kinds of animals often caring, feeding and giving them water. She also loved her pet goldfish. She enjoyed helping her mother and father in their garden watering plants and picking vegetables. She enjoyed bike riding and rode her bicycle to Canyon Lake several times. She enjoyed the company of family and friends and watching game shows, doing word searches and putting puzzles together. She was truly a people person.

She is survived by her parents, Edgar and Dorothy Haner; brother, Richard “Rick” Haner; niece, Cassidy Haner; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Edgar Sr. and Adelia Haner and Armo and Cora Dietert; aunts, Lorene Reininger, Caroline McDonald and husband Bill McDonald and Margaret Haner; uncles, James Lee Dietert, Stanley Miller Armo Dietert, Jr., Eddie Knoll and Henry Dietert.

Public Visitation will begin 9:00 AM Friday, June 30, 2023 at Zoeller Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, June 30, 2023 at Zoeller Funeral Home with burial will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
