He was born in Lake Charles, LA on August 24, 1946 to Walter Louviere, Sr and Jane (Aiken) Louviere. Charles attended grade school, middle school and high school in Corpus Christi, graduating from Mary Carroll High School. He began his training as an electrician at B.L. Guess Lighting in Corpus Christi shortly before hiring on with Humble Oil and Refining; later Exxon, USA. He began his career as a roustabout, working his way to Senior Technician in the Electrical Shop with Exxon on the King Ranch in Kingsville, TX. While living in Kingsville Charles enjoyed fishing and helping out at Trinity Lutheran Church whenever he could. Many weekends were spent as a member of IHMSA, shooting in as many matches as he could. Post matches he enjoyed cleaning brass and reloading, meticulously weighing powders and experimenting with loads and bullets.
He is survived by his wife of almost 51 years, Earleene, stepson Brian Holder and wife Sheilah and grandsons Brandon and Jared all of Colorado. Survivors also include his sister Helena North and husband Ian of Stevenage, England, sister-in-law Katherine Darby and brother-in-law Calvin Kempin and wife Rose as well several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
