Carmen had Alzheimer’s disease for several years and succumbed to congestive heart failure at the age of 86. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilberto and Juanita Limon.
She is survived by her Sister, Mary Limon (Manuel) Valenzuela, brothers, Celestino (Maria) Limon, and Pedro (Ermelinda) Limon all of New Braunfels, TX. and Santiago (Lily) Limon of Uvalde, TX. She is survived by 4 nieces and 3 nephews, 1 great niece, 1 great-grand niece and 4 great grand nephews and numerous cousins and friends.
Carmen was a devout Jehovah’s Witness and dedicated her life to Jehovah since her baptism on July 23, 1950. She served Jehovah faithfully as long as she was physically able.
The family wants to thank Maria Valenzuela for the loving care that she gave to her Sister during her years of illness. Thank you so much to all the staff and personnel at Cima Hospice for all the care and assistance during the last months of her life.
Due to her wishes to be cremated, there will be no viewing. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 1765 Old Marion Road in New Braunfels, TX on November 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM.
