Betty J. Coker, 88, of New Braunfels, TX passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Eden Hills Community. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to J.L. McFarlin and Oleta Sistrunk on January 18, 1930. She attended Hot Wells High School and was a member of the Bugle Corps and graduated Salutatorian of her class. She later went on to attend Trinity University and worked many years in the Insurance business until her retirement.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Froboese and wife Pam and Jerry Froboese and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Troy & Angela Froboese and great-grandchildren, Travis & Paige Froboese,; sisters, Pattie Lee and Linda Walters; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation to all the staff of Eden Hills Communities and doctors and nurses of Hope Hospice.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday July 21, at Eden Hills Communities Chapel at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope Hospice.
