Antonio Ruiz Landin, age 82, of New Braunfels, Texas passed away with his family by his side at his home on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Antonio was born to Leonor and Pablo Landin in New Braunfels, Texas on May 10, 1940. He was the fourth of eight children. Antonio married the love of his life, Rosa Montanez, on March 9, 1968. They were married 54 wonderful years.
Antonio is survived by his loving wife; daughter Nancy Morquecho and husband Alex, son Antonio Landin Jr and wife Araceli; sister Juanita Bustos; brothers Paul Landin Jr and wife Frances, Manuel Landin and wife Gloria; grandchildren Paul Caballero and wife Stacy Nicholas, Daniel Caballero and wife Ninna Eagan, Tracie Villarruel and husband Emilio, Gianna Gonzales, Madeline Marchetti, Zoe Landin and Caleb "Nico" Landin; great grandchildren Addison Caballero, Zita Caballero and Jaxon Caballero as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Antonio is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Evaristo Landin, Christine Alvarez, Susie Valdez and Maria Medellin.
Pallbearers: Reyes Medellin Jr., Philip Montanez, Chris Landin, Manuel Landin Jr., Paul Landin III, and Paul Caballero.
A public viewing & visitation for Antonio will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. A holy rosary will occur Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. A holy mass will occur Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 138 W Austin St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130. A committal service will occur Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11:15 AM at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Peace Ave, New Braunfels, Texas 78130.
