Alice Elizabeth Weir Bailey went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2017, at the age of 73. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 11, 1943, to Henry Howard and Anna Juanita Weir. She later married Jody Mac Bailey in San Antonio on September 26, 1964. They were married for 52 wonderful years and raised three children together. Alice retired from the City of Austin Fire Dept. after 16 years as an Office Administrator. She loved her family more than anything. Alice was always a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Alice was survived by her loving husband, Jody; her 3 children, Kim Elizabeth, Eric Stephan, and Nathan Garrett; 3 grandchildren; brother, Henry Edward Weir; sister, Camilla Ann Woodcock and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
The Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at 1:45 pm at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
