William is survived by his wife Rosita Scoby; one son, Edward Scoby of Fort Walton, FL; two daughters, Cindy Perkins of New Bern and Alma Scoby of Chapel Hill; two brothers, Don Scoby of Phoenix, AZ and Duane Scoby of Valdosta, GA; one sister, Marjorie Conway of Greenville, AL and two grandchildren.
Funeral services with Military honors will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church in Havelock. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
