William E. Ash, 90, of New Bern, died October 31, 2014 at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehab Center.
Major William Ash is a retired Salvation Army Officer.
He is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Walsh of Oriental, NC; Stephanie Edelman of Las Vegas, NV; Melanie Modeen of Waterbury, CT; one brother, Clifford Ash of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Croatan Village Assisted Living, 4522 Old Cherry Point Road, New Bern, NC.
