Violet Dene Wilson Davis, 84, of New Bern, died March 13, 2013 at her home.
She was a member of Bethany Christian Church in Jasper and attended Sherwood Forest Church in her later years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Adrian P. Davis, Sr.
She is survived by two sons, Adrian Davis, Jr. of Indiana; Robert Davis of New Bern; two daughters, Faye D. Wetherington and Dorothy D. Melton of Cove City; and her sister, Grace W. Hawkins of New Bern; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Cotten Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Bethany Christian Church. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
