She is predeceased by her father, Delma White.
Tina grew up in Pamlico County with hard-working and loving parents. She was a daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, an "adopted mom" to many and a friend to all. Tina became an RN which fit her compassionate personality until she was unable to continue work. Her love was endlessly poured into her children, friends and later, her grandchildren. Her home was always open for a hug, a meal, a bed or an ear. She had the most beautiful soul and her kind heart was easy to feel. A dynamo in every sense with a hint of sass thrown in. She never knew a stranger or a stray and her servant heart served her well.
Heaven gained an angel and we lost one. Our "Teenie" will be terribly missed and forever held in our hearts.
Tina is survived by her mother, Hilda W. Smith (Terry); son, Tommy Wiggins (Alex Schmitz); daughters, Holli Huffman (Alex), Katie Faulkner, and Emily Faulkner (Andrew Hendrix); grandchildren, Zowie, Grady, Mason, Reagan and Willow Grace; best friend and sister by choice, Anna Stansell; her significant other, Joe Dowling and her dog, Kali.
A visitation for Teenie will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Greenleaf Memorial Park Lakeside Chapel followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Craven County Hospice and thank you to Tina’s nurse, Martina, for exceptional care and compassion.
Arrangements by Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory.
